  • "These trucks are fantastic, and i am talking about any first generation Chevy S-10 or GMC S-15, also i am just talking about those that have a 2.5L 4 cyl. these are fantastic little engines and they last forever if they are not neglected or abused, but you can run it hard and it will handle it with ease, yes its not got a lot or power, yes it is not the most fuel efficient, but they just go and go.... the truck itself handles reasonably well, both on road and off road, it a simple design, it is easy to repair, easy to maintain. quite a lot of space, and probably the most reliable vehicles you can get, mine is 26 years old and it runs like a dream, the paint has not done too well it has surface rust and the paint is peeling, but what do you expect. as the saying goes rusty but trusty."
